Fantastic job done here by Novak. For 20 bucks don't hesitate - my Magnum Research 1911 front sight replacement was turned around in a single day, and over the holidays. Novak front sight bases aren't square and will chew into the dovetail walls if you use even a quality sight pusher ... or so a "friend" told me. The slide came back looking factory new. And also great experience with their phone tech support in getting squared away with the right sight/dovetail cut for my gun.
