Just finished installing this sight along with the Novak Wide Notch rear sight on my Colt Combat Commander. My Colt had Novak Sights installed at the factory, so installation was a breeze. Just tapped out the old sights and tapped the new ones in. No filing or fitting was needed for my application. The Mega Dot in conjunction with the wide notch rear gave me a superior sight picture for my aging eyes. I can't say enough good things about these products and recommend them highly.
