I have been lucky enough to recently acquired the second largest Devel collection I knew existed. It is composed of 5 Colts and 3 S&Ws. The Colts include 3 Gammons and 2 Government model Socius grades. The S&W 39 Fulll House is a pre-production and is featured on the cover of a Devel catalog, serial number 001PP. The Basic 59 is significant as it is serialed numbered B-001. The Gammons are all .45 ACP and include the only short slide I know that exists, serial number DG-S. Individual Photos are coming, with more facts and features. The Devels were purchased directly from Charlie Kelsey during the time he was in business. These fine Devels were in the Klaus Nietzschmann Collection and will be forever known as such. Wayne Novak |
